The Keeper Project is a public art experience that unfolds in everyday places.
Across towns on the Sunshine Coast, local artists step into the role of “Keepers”, appearing at set times and locations with simple, evolving rituals shaped by the people and places around them. Part observer and part storyteller, each Keeper spends time embedded in a site, returning again and again to create small moments of connection, curiosity and reflection.
You might come across a Keeper unexpectedly in a park, on a street corner or by the water, or choose to follow their journey online. Each encounter is different, shaped by who is there, what unfolds and what’s noticed along the way. However you experience it, The Keeper Project offers a gentle shift in how we see our surroundings, drawing attention to the details, stories and rhythms of everyday life.
