The Keepers are archaeologists of stories.

JOIN Keeper 02, artist Peta O’Hara, otherwise known as The Butiner on a walk around your favourite place in Coolum.

Peta O’Hara is an Australian analog artist and florist that practices hand-cut collage using scissors and glue from her studio in Coolum Beach.

The Butiner holds glimmers of mischief, questions about culture, the balance of nature and the importance of reusable resources as Peta forages through vintage books & magazines to create original and inspiring creations.

Peta will be hosting one hour story sharing walks around Coolum. The walks are participant led and participants will share their story by taking the artist to Coolum locations of personal interest or significance which will influence new artworks in her daily practice.

Make a booking for a participant led walk between September 3 and 24 September 2021 by visiting the Coolum Library.

This project is supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland and the Regional Arts Development Fund, a partnership between the Queensland Government and Sunshine Coast Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
