RETURNING TO HORIZON, EXPLORING A NEW LOCATION AT POINT ARKWRIGHT, STORYPLACE WILL SHARE STORIES BY ELDERS, HISTORIANS, POETS, MUSICIANS AND OTHER COMMUNITY KEEPERS OF KNOWLEDGE.

Point Arkwright is one of the Sunshine Coast’s most stunning headlands with views stretching north to Sunshine Beach and Point Cartwright to the south. A wonderful viewing point for passing migratory whales, the fauna reserve connecting the headland is rich with coastal plants and wildlife and is home to the endangered Richmond Birdwing butterfly.

Through Storyplace – Point Arkwright, the history and continued custodianship of traditional owners will be revealed with stories by Brent Miller and Lyndon Davis (Kabi Kabi traditional custodians).
