Art & Health: Drawing from the Well

Art & Health: Drawing from the Well

From November 18, 2015 7:15 am until 9:30 am

At Maroochydore Surf Club

We can’t imagine a world without art - it's what makes us human! Although we acknowledge it as fundamental to a good life, we rarely acknowledge that art and culture helps maintain our health, either as individuals or as a community. The Sunshine Coast Creative Alliance’s final Business Breakfast for the year examines the vital role art, music and culture play in our well–being. We’ll also explore the opportunities for innovation within the health and wellness sector, which is one of the biggest drivers of our economy. It will be a fun, poignant and engaging start to your day!

*Please note: Lynne Seear has a serious illness and can’t attend. The Board’s thoughts are with her and we wish her well. Based on Lynne recommendations, curator and art consultant Renai Grace from iAM Projects has agreed to speak.
