SPARK Ipswich, the reimagined Ipswich Festival, is an 11-day city-wide event celebrating the people, places, arts and culture of Ipswich. The 2021 program will deliver up fresh new festival content. Music, comedy, arts, exhibitions, circus, projection, culture, cabaret, technology, collaboration and discussion will take over the City. 8-18 July – SPARK After Dark
Explore the festival’s three light-based installations – Refraction, deLight and pixel.

8-18 July – Lincoln Austin: The Space Between Us
Art and audiences converge to celebrate the exquisite geometry of Lincoln Austin.

8 July – Splash Test Dummies
The Dummies are back with some splish splashing circus set to drown you in tears of laughter.

8-11 July – SPARK on Tour presents Chores
SPARK Ipswich hits the road taking the festival and ‘Chores’ to small halls across the region.

10 July – Waghorn to West
Ipswich’s first multi-venue indie live music crawl. 16 artists across 8 sessions in 4 live music venues on Brisbane Street.

10 July – Jimeoin – Ramble On!
A stalwart of Australian comedy and all-round likeable rogue, comedian Jimeoin presents his new stand-up show Ramble On!

14 July – Swich & Grit
An industry breakfast to spark the imagination of local creatives and ignite opportunities for future collaboration as we build the City’s new festival.

16 July – Best of British
Ipswich Orpheus Chorale, Amberley Brass and Jam Pact, join forces with Camerata Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra.

16-18 July – WOMI
Featuring music from across the globe, WOMI celebrates Ipswich’s vibrant world music scene.

18 July – Little Day Out
Ipswich’s first contemporary music and arts festival designed for the young and young at heart.

18 July – Dirty Laundry
The Briefs boys present a night of intoxifying physicality, gob-smacking comedy, unapologetic truths, and ridiculous showmanship.
