This event started as a weekend where a band of committed volunteers gave their time and toil for the planting of sponsored trees, The Planting has emerged as much more than that nowadays. The joyful (optional) activity of community tree planting is matched by a glorious programme of talks, presentations, song, dance and a myriad of workshops.
